MH Spey Minnow - Fly Tying Tutorial

A very nice and lively Seatrout fly pattern.

I fish this both spring and autumn, but mostly spring time.

Long slower retreive with stops, or a Roly Poly with a normal speed.

Very important to tie it with a Rapala knot for the movement of the fly.

Materials

Hook: Ahrex NS122 size 4

Thread: Textreme Powerthread Small

Tail/Wing: Spey Cape and New Sparkle Hair(flash)

Body: Ice Dub UV Pearl and Ice Dub Fl UV Hot Pink

Eyes: 4 mm Eyes and GULFF Flexman UV Resin
