Synopsis:
Federico García Lorca was a Spanish poet and playwright who, like few modern poets, gained international fame. At the dawn of the Spanish civil war, in 1936, he was assassinated in Granada by Franco’s supporters. 40 years after his cold-blooded execution, the first true film about his last days and death is released. Many of his closest relatives and friends participate in the film, which was made by an international team led by Cuban-Swedish Humberto López y Guerra. The narrator is Kim Loughran (English).
