Contact usVOYD.tv is a streaming service that allows you to easily launch your own streaming service for video or audio. By using VOYD you can upload hours of content and offer it to the world behind a paywall. You can charge for your video or audio by “pay per view” or let your customers pay a monthly fee to get access to your content. And you can also schedule your premieres, bundle them in packages and so much more. VOYD.tv is a service for you that are ready to take your video or audio business to the next level.
VOYD.tv offers two different plans: Free or Pro. The Free plan is free (duh!) meaning you can upload, charge and sell your videos without any monthly fee from VOYD. Instead we take a 30% commission fee on each transaction, plus a small, flat transaction fee. The limitations are that you can only upload 3 videos and some features like monthly subscription to your customers are unavailable. If you already have experience with charging for content online we suggest you go for the Pro plan where you pay a monthly cost to VOYD to use the platform but get access to all the features, unlimited videos, and keep 95% of your sales.
If you are on the Free plan, you can stop using VOYD at any time and shut down your channel whenever you want to. If you are on the Pro tier there is a cancellation period of 3 months during which time you keep all the Pro benefits. The reason for the 3 month cancellation period is solely for your customers sake as they may have purchased content from you and we want to offer them a good experience and protect your reputation.
Anyone in the world can pay for your content and stream it. We offer all the common payment methods including local payment methods like ViPPS in Norway and iDEAL in the Netherlands. We do this to make your customers feel comfortable and secure and the checkout flow will automatically switch to English language for your global audience.
Yes of course, it’s your stuff! We are a platform that provide you with streaming and payments but you keep the rights to your content. It’s also good to know that we will never serve ads to your audience so you don’t have to worry about unwanted ads messing up the experience for your customers.
We are big believers of freedom of speech and to be honest we feel that other platforms have been way too unforgiving and punishing creators and companies for certain types of content. Since we don’t serve ads we can be more liberal with the content we allow on our platform. With that said we do not allow content that is offensive or illegal like hate speech or extensive nudity. We manually review all the content you submit before it’s made available for sale to make sure it meets our content policies.
On the first of every month we generate a report of your earnings that is sent to you for review. Once you have approved it, it takes up to 10 bank days for the money to be transferred to the bank account you have submitted. If you are an individual and not a registered company you can still use VOYD but you will have to keep track of your earnings and report them to the financial authorities in country where you live.
